2016 Suffolk STANYS Awards

The annual Suffolk STANYS Awards program is returning this May. Please nominate science students and teachers here to take part in this wonderful evening that celebrates the exceptional science learning and teaching in school districts throughout Suffolk County! Nominations are due by March 7, 2016.

NYSSLS Draft Released

The New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS) have been released for public comment. The draft standards can be found here. It is imperative that science teachers review the draft standards and fill out the survey. The framework is based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Please visit the STANYS website for more information.
